Seamless, Versatile Electric Power

A Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) seamlessly draws power from both an electric motor powered by a battery, and an internal combustion engine fuelled by gasoline, without the need to plug the vehicle in to recharge. This results in lower tailpipe emissions than a fully gas‑powered vehicle, while saving on installation and electricity costs.

It raced onto the scene in 1974 and is back to reclaim its seat of power: the 2026 Jeep® Cherokee will ignite your adventurous spirit to go further than ever before.

Automatically At Your Service

Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) automatically switch between power gas and electric power sources to deliver optimal efficiency for the road conditions and driving patterns. While driving, the engine and Regenerative Braking help recharge the battery, so you can go farther without stopping to recharge.

Power Up Your Daily Driving

2026 Cherokee has a range of up to 800 km on a single tank of fuel – so whether you’re driving the kids to school and commuting to work, or heading out on a road trip, your Cherokee will get you there with fewer stops at the pump.

Pure Jeep® 4x4 DNA

The 2026 Cherokee combines the iconic style of the original mid‑sized SUV with the relentless off‑road capability that Jeep® vehicles are known for, giving it a jolt of electric power for even tougher performance.

Leave The Plug Behind

Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) don’t need to be plugged in to recharge. The battery automatically charges as you drive, and automatically transitions between gas power and electric power, so you can keep your mind on more important things – like navigating, road safety, and the fun you’ll have once you reach your destination.

All‑Wheel Drive For Every Road

The 2026 Cherokee comes standard with Jeep Active Drive, an always‑on and fully automatic all‑wheel drive (AWD) that automatically transfers power from front to rear wheels to give you effortlessly powerful and safer driving.
